Introduced direct supplier payments by changing the merchant-of-record model and coordinating teams and partners.
Problem
Rigid payment model limited flexibility for customers and created friction with supplier payment flows. The existing merchant of record model constrained how payments could be processed.
My contribution
Led cross-functional initiative to introduce direct supplier payment capabilities, coordinating across internal teams and external partners to redesign the merchant of record model and implement new payment rails.
Outcome
Successfully launched alternative payment model enabling direct supplier payments, improving partner relationships and customer payment flexibility.
